This Privacy Notice explains how Loukas John Hayes, a sole trader operating in Queensland, Australia, trading as Voltly ("Voltly", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our application and website (the "Service"). Loukas John Hayes (trading as Voltly) is the data controller for the personal data described below.

- Usage data — quiz results, study activity, streaks, XP, ranks, weak-points, preferences.
- Social data — friends, groups, messages and content you share within the Service.
- Support data — messages and information you send us when contacting support.
- Device & technical data — IP address, device identifiers, browser type, OS, timestamps, log data.
- Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
Payment card details are collected directly by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

- Create and manage your account and provide the Service;
- Personalise your experience (adaptive difficulty, weak-point training, analytics);
- Operate social features (friends, leaderboards, groups, messaging);
- Process subscriptions and provide customer support;
- Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Improve and develop the Service;
- Send service announcements and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.
3. Legal bases
- Performance of contract — to deliver the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve the Service.
- Consent — for optional cookies and marketing communications, where required.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, email and support tooling.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle) — for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. See Paddle's privacy notice.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting and similar advisers, where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion of your account at any time via in-app support.
